More about me
I graduated with a Bachelors Degree from UMASS -Dartmouth and traveled out west to find myself. I had always been interested in building things and have been doing tree work since I was 14. After moving west, I found myself training in a cabinet shop in Woodinville, WA. I spent 2 years training in this shop and learned the skills of fine carpentry. I returned to the east coast to be closer to my family in 2001 and have been working with wood ever since. My wife Sue says that I’m a “jack of all things wood.” I’ve been doing carpentry from framing to finish since 1998. I have been living in Maine since 2004 and since I really enjoy tree work I got my Maine State First Class Utility Arborist License in 2007. Besides work I also volunteer with the Mount Desert Fire Department, and I enjoy the great outdoors and Acadia National Park whenever I can.
